Travis Allison Band's second independent, all-original album, Old Habits, was released in May 1999 and has received remarkable feedback. MTV is currently featuring tracks from Old Habits on their show 'Undressed.' Nickelodeon is also using tracks for it's show 'Snick House.' Disney's 'Z Games' has also been using tracks. The WASHINGTON POST reviews: 'Allison craftily blends elements of pop, folk, rock, and soul music. Several of his best songs, in fact, take the shape of narratives that unfold in poignant, sorrowful or uplifting ways. Like a young Springsteen... has something that sets it apart from most of the bar-band competition - songs. Real songs... and often ambitious songs.' 'If you only buy one CD this year, 'Old Habits' is the ONE!' -Bob Peppler, CD Baby.com 'The TAB has been cranking out it's own melodic and sophisticated brand of rock 'n' roll and has a way of touching heart and head equally. Allison is no imitator and his supporting players add a depth rarely heard in acoustic rock circles... rooted in strong melodies and intelligent, telling lyrics.' -John Harper, The Virginia Pilot 'Lyrically, there are not many songwriters that can put together a full collection of songs as magnificent as the eleven on this disc. There are not many words to describe the overall excellence of this recording, so I suggest you check it our for yourself. Never has good old American music sounded so good.' -Tony Gisondi, ThisIsModern.com Digitalcity's Marian Roseaan of Washington D.C. writes 'Allison and his band produce a tight sound that'll stay in the CD changer.'
